The property, formerly a merchant's haveli, is an architectural marvel. Clean and well-maintained, with luxurious bathrooms and high ceilings. Noise-proof windows reduced street noise significantly.

The room was so modern and the decor was super cool, with mood lighting that was jaw-dropping. The location was next to the Royal Palace and a short walk to the temple. The breakfast and lunch at the rooftop restaurant were mind-blowing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Plus, the room was comfortable and clean, with great soundproofing. The hotel had free wi-fi, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, 24-hour security, air conditioning. No pets allowed.

I chose Tanjore Hi Hotel specifically to visit the Manora Fort, and I was pleasantly surprised by the Indian national from Kerala who manages the hotel. Their experience in hotel projects in North and South India over the past 20 years added to the overall quality of my stay. , the constant refreshing sea breeze that I could enjoy from my private garden made the experience even more delightful.

Roadside rooms are extremely noisy due to the intense traffic on the main street, making it difficult to rest peacefully.
